(International) guests often choose the 1 Day Tour due to their limited time schedule in Melbourne. HOWEVER, we would absolutely recommend choosing the 2 Day Tour for the following reasons :
You see more! The 1 Day tour will deliver you the MAIN attractions, but it barely scratches the surface
Tour at a more relaxed pace and spend as much time as you want at each location (no time constraints)
Enjoy an overnight stay in Apollo Bay (nicknamed as ‘Paradise by the Sea’)
More walks – You can undertake extra walks, all carefully selected by your guide to suit your fitness level.
The driving time is halved. 4-5 Hours on a 2 Day tour, compared with of 8-9 Hours driving on a 1 Day tour.
You get to experience a special Kangaroo tour on Private Property with a dedicated Kangaroo Expert (included in your 2 Day tour price) -

Pack light for a one-day trip. The weather conditions can change at any time. A jumper/sweater and light comfy clothing, walking shoes, any medication you may need, camera, and spare cards, charge leads etc., sunglasses, money, and a small backpack with your essential items. For overnight tours, we can only accommodate small carry-on sized suitcases/bags (not full size suitcases). If however, you are travelling as a solo or a couple, there will be ample space for any luggage you wish to bring.

We pick up from most accommodations in the CBD, Southbank and Docklands. If you are outside these areas, you will need to make your own way into the CBD. In which case, just let us know and we can give you a meeting point which will be easy for you to use.

It is recommended you arrive at your pick-up location at least 5 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Our city centre pick ups can sometimes be a bit challenging, depending on the location, so it helps us if you are ‘ready-to-go’ at your location.

For a 1 day tour, you will be back 9 hours after the pick up time. So if you are picked up at 7AM your drop off time will be 7PM. For our 2 day tour, the standard drop off is 4PM on Day 2. However, you may add additional 3 hour for 180$ and have a late drop-off of 7pm. We only provide a light Snack Pack on our 1 Day Tour, due to the early departure. All other meals/drinks are at your own expense.

We use the Kia Carnival Platinum range. These have reclining leather seats, air conditioning, Wifi-connectivity, USB charger ports, UV protected windows, Privacy blinds and an Apple Music Music Library to choose from.

Unfortunately, we cannot carry children under 12 years. Ocean Road Tours reserve the right to alter the itinerary, tour dates, and prices as required. Part refunds may be offered in the event of a tour not being completed, due to Weather, Road Blockages, Illness or accident or any other reasonable action, for the cancellation of a tour which has begun. Cancellation within 7 Days will incur a 25% fee (of total amount). Cancellation within 48 hours OR a No-Show will result in 100% fee (of total amount) to be charged. Ocean Road Tours will endeavour to provide all advertised attractions, however, if this is not possible, the best possible replacement attractions will be offered.
